Road Trippin'

So Erik (my brother) and I are currently on the edge of Texas in a small town named Van Horn. We are about halfway through our trip with a couple great stops with friends and family left. As weve driven almost 1500 miles so far althouh there has been a lot of sleeping I have also had a lot of time to look back on these last sereval years in Santa Cruz and rejoice in what Dad has done. I spent the first afternoon reading through the notes that many of you put in the books that were given to me from my goodbye party in Santa Cruz as well as from my students at SCBC. I have to say that for all of the amazing things each of you wrote I can only but echo that back on a small level. I can without a doubt say that not only would I not be who I am today without all of your love and support but I also would not be where I am today. It is because of all of you that love, believe, support and encourage me that I have been able to jump head first in this crazy thing that Dad has planned and do it with a desire and longing to see him work in amazing ways. I hope that as this journey continues not only do you all stay a vital part of my life but you also stay connected. This isnt just me going out and seeing what can happen but this is all of us together as a team in partnership exploring what Dad can do through his people as we seek his will and love him with everything we have! I love you all and for those of you in Santa Cruz I miss you already. I am so blessed to have friends like all of you who have become part of my family!
